The 6th edition of Pointe to Point Lisbon 2009, an encounter between european and asian artists, was co-organized by associação alkantara in cooperation with Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). The three selected projects follow-up their creation process, through artistic residences taking place in Europe and Asia.

From February 20th till March 20th the Portuguese-Dutch artist João Evangelista and his Malaysian colleague Fahmi Fadzil will be developing their work “Breaking Point(e)” in espaço alkantara. On March 20th they will open the doors to the public, presenting the outcome of a month’s work.


From 15 February until 17 March, “The Diary of Alice”, by Paloma Calle [Es] and Joavien Ng [Singapure], is in artistic residence at Rimbun Dahan [Kuala Lumpur, Malasya].
