Did you know you can allocate 1% of your income tax to an association at no extra cost? Consider supporting Alkantara!

This is a portion of the tax you would already pay to the State, which can be redirected to any association without affecting your tax refund. The State transfers this amount directly, with no impact on you: you neither receive less nor pay more.

By allocating your income tax to Alkantara, you are contributing to the realisation of artistic projects, supporting artists in dance, theatre, and performance, and sustaining a festival that brings to the city of Lisbon plural voices and bodies that question and reinvent ways of being, thinking, and imagining the world.

Income tax submissions for 2026, relating to earnings from 2025, take place between 1 April and 30 June 2026, regardless of the taxpayer’s income category.

How to donate to Alkantara?

IRS Manual Declaration
At the time of submitting the declaration, follow the steps below:

Login to Portal das Finanças
Go to Menu > Cidadãos > IRS > Entregar declaração (Modelo 3)
Select "Folha de Rosto"
In Table 11, tick the box marked “Consignação de 1% do IRS”
Under type of organisation select “Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social ou Pessoas Coletivas de Utilidade Pública” and insert Alkantara’s Fiscal number (NIF): 503 826 162

Automatic IRS
If you choose the automatic IRS option, follow the steps below at the time of submitting the declaration:

Login to Portal das Finanças
Go to Menu > Cidadãos > IRS > IRS Automático
In the "Pré-Liquidação" area, check the box indicating that you wish to allocate 1% of your IRS
Then, in the "Entidade beneficiária" box, choose the option "Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social ou Pessoas Coletivas de Utilidade Pública" and enter the tax identification number (NIF) 503826162 in the "NIF Entidade Beneficiária" box.
