This April, dancer Eric Santos returns to the studio at Espaço Alkantara for a week-long residency for his new work, Prima Rosa.
On a journey of self-expression, a body explores its masculinity. Normative stereotypes of transmasculine expression are revolutionised through performativities and sensibilities.
Eríc Santos (1994, Pombal) is based in Porto. As a dancer and drummer, his artistic expression moves between different styles in street dance and clubbing. In the last six years, he has performed in Polos, by Daniel Matos; Bisonte, Siri and Salão Pavão by Marco da Silva Ferreira; BAqUE, by Gaya de Medeiros; and Trans*performatividade, by AURA. He premiered his solo GA at TBA, in the Ou.kupa festival curated by Piny (June 2023).
